Web Design and Development for HVAC Companies

We build HVAC websites around how homeowners actually buy: a fast call when the AC dies, and financing when a new system costs five figures. Every site ships with the features the top-ranked HVAC companies rely on. Then we track how it performs and improve it every month.

What the Top-Ranked HVAC Websites Have in Common

In November 2026 we audited 27 HVAC companies ranking on page one of Google in Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Columbus, Denver, Charlotte and Houston. We checked each one for the features that turn a visit into a booked job.

The baseline: financing, maintenance plans, coupons, service area pages and online booking aren't extras. Nearly every HVAC company winning its market has all five.

The gap: only one in three mention rebates, even though utility and manufacturer rebates can take hundreds or thousands off a new system. We build them in.

Built for How HVAC Customers Actually Buy

HVAC isn't like other trades. Half your calls are emergencies, and the other half are five-figure decisions. Every site we build handles both. Here's what's included:

Emergency calls one tap away

When the AC dies in July, nobody fills out a form. A click-to-call button stays on screen on mobile, and your 24/7 or after-hours service is front and center.

Financing that answers the price question

A new system can cost more than a used car. Financing gets its own page and shows up on every replacement page, so price never sends a homeowner to someone else.

Reviews where the decision happens

Homeowners compare two or three HVAC companies before they call. Your Google reviews, licenses, warranties and brands sit right next to the call buttons and financing.

Maintenance plan pages that sell memberships

Maintenance plans are recurring revenue and your best source of future replacements. A dedicated page explains what members get and lets them sign up.

Coupon funnels and seasonal pop-ups

A $79 tune-up offer fills the schedule in spring and fall. Specials pages and seasonal pop-ups you can swap yourself, connected to forms that track every lead.

Service area pages

A page for each city or region you serve, with local details that help you show up in Google Maps and local search there.

Online booking that syncs with your software

Booking connects to the tools you already run, like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber, so appointments land straight on your board.

Rebate pages (optional)

Only a third of top HVAC sites mention rebates. We add a page on the utility and manufacturer rebates your customers qualify for, so savings are part of the pitch.

Fast, mobile-first and easy to edit

Pages load quickly on a phone, and your team can update specials, service areas and seasonal offers without a developer.

Launch Day Is Day One

Most agencies hand over a website and move on. Every website we build comes with our analytics engine and monthly improvements as standard. We track what's working and improve the site every month based on the data, not on guesses.

01

Track

Rankings and clicks from Search Console, traffic from GA4, every call-button click and every form submission.

02

Review

Each month we compare results against last month and the same month last year.

03

Improve

We rewrite pages stuck on page two, fix pages that get traffic but no calls, and build out what's working.

04

Repeat

Every change is measured the next month. What works gets repeated across your site, so gains compound.

Month over month and year over year

HVAC is seasonal. Calls in October will never match July, so a month-over-month report alone can look bad when the business is actually growing. We report both, so you see real growth instead of the weather.

Example monthly report: October

Calls vs. September−12%
Calls vs. last October+18%

Parent company and subsidiary

Vertical Mechanical Group

Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia

The Challenge:

VMG needed a website from the ground up, one that matched their ambition to be the go-to mechanical contractor in the DMV.

What We Did:

Built a brand-new site end to end: positioning, messaging, service pages, local SEO structure and conversion paths, all designed to present VMG as the leading mechanical contractor in the region.

The Result:

A site that positions VMG as the market leader from day one, and serves as the hub for its family of companies, including AMSI.

AMSI

A Vertical Mechanical Group company

The Challenge:

AMSI's old site had one or two thin sections per page. There was little content for customers or Google to go on, and no SEO structure.

What We Did:

Rebuilt it with in-depth pages centered on AMSI's unique selling points, an SEO-optimized structure, and positioning that fits alongside parent company VMG.

The Result:

A site with real depth that tells customers why to choose AMSI, and works together with the VMG brand instead of standing apart from it.

Our HVAC Web Design Process

Most HVAC sites go live in 2–4 weeks, depending on size and how quickly you approve content. After launch, we keep measuring and improving every month.

Plan and Strategize

We start with a strategy call to talk about your goals and what’s holding back your online presence. Before we design anything, we work with you to shape your brand, map out your services, and understand the tech behind your business so we can align the whole system.

Design and Develop

We build a custom, mobile-first site with service pages, financing, maintenance plan and specials pages built in. Then we connect your booking software and CRM so leads flow straight to your team.

Testing and Launch

We test every call button, form and booking flow on phones and desktops, check load speed, and launch. Then the real work starts: we track rankings, traffic, calls and form submissions, and make data-driven updates every month, compared month over month and year over year.

HVAC Website FAQs

What should an HVAC website include?

At minimum: a click-to-call button that stays visible on mobile, financing, a maintenance plan page, specials or coupons, service area pages and online booking. In our audit of 27 top-ranked HVAC sites, 96–100% had financing, a maintenance plan, specials, service area pages and online booking. Rebates and visible pricing are where you can get ahead, since only a third to a half of leaders show them.

What happens after my website launches?

We keep improving it. Search Console, Google Analytics 4, call clicks and form submissions feed into our analytics engine, and each month we update the site to lift rankings, traffic and conversion rate. Results are reported against both last month and the same month last year, because a slow October doesn't mean a bad year.

Can you connect my website to ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or my CRM?

Yes. We connect online booking, forms and lead tracking to the software you already use, so new jobs land where your office already works. We've integrated ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber and most other major HVAC CRMs.

Should I use an HVAC website builder or template instead?

Templates are cheaper up front, but they look like every other HVAC company using the same one, and they rarely include financing, maintenance plan and service area pages built for your market. A custom build is designed around your services, your area and how your customers buy, and it keeps improving after launch.

How much does an HVAC website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, service areas and integrations. Simpler builds cost less, while fully custom sites with software integrations and SEO are a bigger investment. Contact us for a quote.
